It combines VR simulations, AI adaptation, and progress analytics to promote independence and confidence.
ChapVR was developed by Compassionate Hearts, in partnership with research institutions, disability support professionals, and technology partners in Canada.
ChapVR is designed primarily for adults with developmental disabilities, but it’s also beneficial for caregivers, rehabilitation centers, support agencies, and educational institutions focused on life skills training.
Unlike generic VR, ChapVR is built around accessibility, inclusion, and measurable progress. Every interaction is tracked through the ChapVR Skill Transfer Index — showing how virtual progress translates into real-world independence.
Yes. Agencies and support organizations can request tailored scenarios or environments through the ChapStudio platform.
Yes. Each module functions as a standalone experience but integrates seamlessly with the full ChapVR ecosystem for unified reporting.
ChapVR works with most modern Meta Quest, HTC Vive, or Pico headsets. A stable internet connection and access to the ChapCloud portal are also required.
Not always. Modules can be used offline, but data syncs automatically to the ChapDashboard once the headset reconnects online.
Setup takes about 15–30 minutes. Our onboarding team provides full installation support and training.
